# Adding and checking proxies

* Paste the list of your proxies into the import window or load proxies from a text file
* Select a protocol. For example, if you purchased http, then select http, if socks5, then select socks5.
* Click on the "Add from list" button
* Select one/several/all and click “Check”
* Explanation of proxy status symbols 
* <mark style="background-color:green;">200 - works</mark>&#x20;
* <mark style="background-color:red;">400 - does not work</mark>

Default proxy response timeout is 120sec
